Could you use some clarity? Some spark? Some softening of your internal narrative?
Maybe you have been feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of how to navigate the complexities of life. Maybe you know you are on the right track and would benefit from some support in digging deeper into your ingrained narratives and patterns. Whatever the case, I assure you, you are not alone. It is simply a fact that you belong here, and you are capable of finding more freedom to not only handle life, but to have fun with it!
I work with those who yearn for a greater sense of purpose, belonging, stability, and more connection with themselves, their communities, and nature.
Many of my clients come seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, interpersonal challenges, social anxiety, low self-esteem, self-criticism, isolation, procrastination, avoidance, or just plain confusion about this wild world.

My goal is to support my clients in sifting through the layers of their experience to uncover their wisdom and gifts, recognize the tools gained, and tend to the wounds acquired along the way, both large and small.
We will work together to explore how challenges in your daily experience are related to your core wounds, and integrate real-time healing with your larger goals and how you want to be with your community and the world. Tools I use include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic body-centered approaches, mindfulness, art, storytelling, neuroscience, dreamwork, and more.
Sometimes we will address issues through framing your situation in a more helpful and empowering light, sometimes we will explore an inner child or past version of you who experienced something scary and didn’t know what to do with it at the time, and we will always work to integrate these processes so that they achieve a sustainable and lasting impact on how you approach life.
I like to look at life as a journey. Sometimes astoundingly beautiful and fulfilling, sometimes terrifying and heavy, sometimes just kind of boring, each experience leaves us with tools, wounds, wisdom, and questions.
You will emerge from this journey as a better friend to yourself.

Hi,
I’m Callie
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Boulder, Colorado. I love crawling on the forest floor looking for critters, and crawling through the psyche of myself and others, finding beauty and meaning in the tangled underbrush there as well. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, and have been a geologist, sustainable farmer, traveler, and end-of-life caregiver in previous chapters. These days I spend my time doing individual therapy, leading nature-based therapy groups, facilitating Death Cafes and caregiver support groups, continuing to engage with my own journey of self-discovery in therapy and adventure, and enjoying time with loved ones of the human and non-human varieties.
